FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method and a system for continuous production of a fiber-optic cable, the method comprising the following steps: (1) obtaining a cable core by means of an apparatus for producing a core of a cable; (2) transfer of produced cable core into first cable accumulation device; (3) moving the cable core from the first cable storage device to the shell extrusion device, wherein the outer portion of the cable core is coated with a shell to obtain a fiber-optic cable after processing; (4) feeding fiber optic cable from shell extrusion device to cable winding device, wherein optical fiber cable is wound on coil to produce finished coil with wound optical fiber cable; (5) checking the finished coil with the wound fiber optic cable for compliance with requirements and sending the non-conforming coil with the wound fiber optic cable to the nonconformities elimination zone to bring it into compliance with requirements and (6) fixing the seal in the form of plates on the ready coil corresponding to the requirements by means of the sealing device. Presence of the first device for cable accumulation makes it possible to accumulate the cable core described in this application, so that the worker has time to cope with problems arising during the cable core production process.

EFFECT: according to the invention, the cable core production process for production purposes can be combined with the coating process and can eliminate the movement of the semi-finished article in the form of a cable core, which considerably increases production efficiency.
