FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to target location determining device (1). Device comprises: camera (2), orientable in orientation for observation of target, so that camera could take off image of target, and in orientation for observation of star, so that camera could remove at least one image of star; unit (4) of inertial sensors configured to calculate position data and orientation data of camera (2); correction module (6) configured to apply a star correction to said data calculated based on the star image to output the corrected data; positioning module (8) configured to estimate the position of the target (T) based on the target image (T) and the corrected data; communication interface with operator station, wherein camera (2) changes from one orientation to another in response to receiving, through an interface, a command sent from an operator station.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of device for determining location, intended for installation on carrier, but without weighting of said carrier.
