SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Disclosed are a method of transmitting a pilot signal, a terminal device and a network device. Method includes the following: a terminal device determining a first pilot signal structure from a plurality of pilot signal structures; in accordance with the first pilot signal structure, the terminal device determines the frequency-time resource used for transmitting the pilot signal, the terminal device transmits or receives the pilot signal using this frequency-time resource.
EFFECT: in embodiments, the method of transmitting a pilot signal, a terminal device and a network device can flexibly adjust density of the pilot signal and occupy a physical resource, thereby reducing the amount of service information for the pilot signal.
