SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication and is intended to solve the problem of insufficient flexibility caused by preliminary configuration of resources during transmission of pilot signals, and reduced consumption of resources. Pilot signal transmission method comprises the following: first device receives first message transmitted by second device, wherein the first message is used to instruct the first device to receive or transmit a pilot signal and the first message comprises information on assignment of pilot signal resources; and the first device transmits a pilot signal to a second device or receives a pilot signal transmitted by the second device in accordance with the resource allocation information.
EFFECT: method and device for transmitting a pilot signal are disclosed.
