FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in devices for sealing of detachable connection of cables operating in aggressive medium, for example for transmitting an electrical signal or in systems for monitoring parameters of a nuclear reactor on fast neutrons with heavy liquid metal heat carrier. Proposed device comprises housing made up of two metal shells with end parts arranged one inside the other and forming cavity accommodating plug and socket parts of detachable connection of cables. End parts of shells are made with annular groove and annular ledge respectively and form annular T-shaped groove joint, which is made with soldered seam. Shear and rupture strength of soldered connection of shells is less than that of shells.

EFFECT: high level of tightness of the device, as well as providing remote disconnection of cables by mechanical rupture of said connection of shell shells with simultaneous disconnection of electrical connector of cables.
