FIELD: technological processes; electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical protection of metal structures from corrosion and can be used in corrosion-active electrolytic media, particularly in marine environment. Device comprises a solar battery, a comparison electrode, an electromagnetic circuit breaker, an electrical current conversion system, wherein it contains insoluble anode and electrical measuring devices in the form of potentiometer and ammeter, electric current conversion system is made in form of pulse DC converter, wherein the solar battery outputs are connected to the DC pulse inverter supply inputs, the electromagnetic circuit breaker coil power supply is made from the DC pulse converter, the negative output of the DC converter is electrically connected to the protected structure, and the positive output is connected to the insoluble anode through the switching contact of the electromagnetic circuit breaker, the ammeter is installed in the power supply circuit breakthrough of the insoluble anode, the potentiometer is connected to the comparison electrode by one clamp, and the other clamp is connected to the protected structure.
EFFECT: simplifying the cathodic protection device, improving the reliability of electrochemical protection of metal structures, eliminating the need for continuous operation of the cathode protection.
