FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: application relates to metal processing, in particular to systems and methods of treatment by preliminary aging of metal strip during metal processing. Metal processing can be used to control temperature of metal product before, during or after various stages of treatment. According to the invention, systems and methods of preliminary aging of a metal strip during metal processing include passage of a metal strip next to a magnetic rotor of a heater. Systems and methods also include heating of metal strip by means of magnetic rotor by means of magnetic rotor rotation. Rotation of magnetic rotor induces magnetic field in metal strip so that metal strip is heated.
EFFECT: invention allows efficient and fast transfer of heat energy to metal strip.
