FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photoelectric converters (PEC) with high efficiency, more specifically to protective coatings of photoelectric converters. Photoelectric converter has non-transparent elements and a transparent protective layer with recesses located above the opaque elements. At least one of recesses is filled with transparent material with smaller refraction index than that of protective layer. Inclination side wall inclination angle and materials are selected so that the optical beam, after refraction, falls on the region outside the opaque elements.
EFFECT: high resistance of the protective coating to contamination and high efficiency of the photoelectric converter.
