FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of scheduling transmission of a plurality of input/output (I/O) operations, intended for execution by a data storage device. It is used for successive I/O operations from a planned sequence of a sliding cell window arranged on consecutive I/O operations starting from the first I/O operation. Serial I/O operations are transmitted to the storage device. Operation acknowledgment from the data storage device is received. Position of the cell of the sliding cell window associated with the I/O operation is determined. If the position of this cell corresponds to the first position in the sliding cell window, sliding of the sliding cell window is performed on multiple I/O operations so that as a result the window contains at least one additional I/O operation. Data of this at least one additional I/O operation is transmitted to the storage device for execution.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of reaction time when performing task directed to storage device and shorter time for task hang-up.
