SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing systems. System comprises a data storage for logging, a state machine associated with a data store for logging by performing registration actions, wherein the journal stores indications of the processed data. Finite state machine has a plurality of generations, each of which has a corresponding GUID. One of the generations is assigned by the main generation of the finite automaton at any moment in time. Main generation has exclusive rights to perform registration actions of recording in the log at any moment in time. Method includes transmission by a master candidate generation of a locking request to a log, according to which (a) performing recording actions of recording by any generation having an earlier GUID than the main candidate GUID identifier, and (b) registration actions of recording are allowed exclusively by the master candidate generation.
EFFECT: technical result is faster data processing.
