SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a culture medium for increasing the population of adult stem cells, where said culture medium contains a basal medium to which a Wnt agonist, a BMP inhibitor and one or more TGF-beta inhibitors, which are an ALK5, ALK4 and / or ALK7 inhibitor, are added, as well as its use to increase the number of stem cells, stem cell populations, or tissue or organoid fragment containing stem cells or stem cell populations. Also disclosed is a method of increasing the number of single stem cells, stem cell populations, or tissue fragment containing stem cells or stem cell populations, to obtain an organoid using said culture medium.
EFFECT: invention effectively increases the population of adult stem cells.
