FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, particularly to endocrinology, and concerns a population of pancreatic endocrine precursor cells for reducing animal's blood glucose concentration by cell transplantation. PDX1 and NKX6.1 expressing precursor cells are produced by culturing pancreatic endodermal cells produced of H1, H7, H9 or SA002 cell lines. The culture is performed in a medium containing DMEM high glucose, FGF7 and KAAD-cyclopamine. The medium is added with a factor able to inhibit BMP, and TGF-β receptor I kinase inhibitor. What is also presented is a method for differentiating pancreatic endodermal cells in PDX1 and NKX6 expressing precursor cells. That is ensured by culturing the cells in the above medium.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective reduction of animal's blood glucose levels and more successful cell transplantation.
