SMALL-SIZED REMOTE-CONTROLLED UNDERWATER VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B63G8/00 B63C11/00

Abstract RU 2775894 C1

FIELD: vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of underwater engineering. Small-sized remote-controlled underwater vehicle comprises a modular frame, a buoyancy unit installed in the upper part of the underwater vehicle, horizontal and vertical travel propulsors, lighting fixtures, a surveillance video camera installed by means of a bracket over the surface of the buoyancy unit, a stationary monochrome video camera. A perforated container for collecting underwater samples is installed in the upper part of the underwater vehicle coaxially with the vertical axis thereof. The underwater vehicle also comprises a manipulator equipped with a span and a sealed drive, wherein the manipulator is installed on the output shaft of the drive. A video camera is installed at the free end of the output shaft of the manipulator drive so that the sighting axis thereof is constantly directed to the centre of the manipulator span. The small-sized remote-controlled underwater vehicle is additionally equipped with laser pointers, a buoyancy change system, a sonar transponder beacon, an all-round view mini sonar apparatus, an inertial measuring apparatus, and a supporting frame with buoyancy units. The surveillance video camera is installed on the apparatus providing inclination and rotation of the camera in the range of ±30 degrees, and is made with tenfold image approximation. The light fixtures are made on LEDs with a light flux of at least 2,000 lm, configured for changing the colour temperature and smoothly adjusting the lighting brightness so as to reduce the flare effect from water-suspended particles.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of collecting and rising underwater samples to the surface is achieved without compromising the stability and manoeuvring capacity of the apparatus.
