SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Surgical approach device comprises a sealing unit comprising partially round sealing elements, each of which is connected to a common ring, which is held inside the device around its longitudinal axis. Sealing elements are located radially inside the ring one above the other. Packing unit comprises a single sheet of flexible material arranged in a single plane with partially round sealing elements in a non-overlapping configuration. Sealing elements are configured to fold, when outside the device, from a position radially outside the ring to a position radially inside the ring. Sealing core comprises a sealing assembly and a security element for use in a surgical approach device. Method of assembling a surgical approach device comprising a sealing assembly includes a step of moving the sealing elements from a position radially outside the ring to a position radially inside the ring so that the above sealing elements are positioned one above the other.

EFFECT: invention enables to form a multicomponent assembly as a single article, which reduces complexity of the assembly process of the device.
