FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to antenna technology. Method is based on arrangement on the cylindrical surface of the antenna of radiators combined along the cylinder generatrix into equidistant lines of emitters, which form the same radiation patterns, determining the size of the angular sector of the arrangement of the emitter arrays for any direction of an antenna beam, extracting N active emitter arrays inside this angular sector, supplying a microwave signal to them by means of electronic switching, and flat field radiation by means of electronic control of introduced phase shift of microwave signals passing through emitters. In order to achieve possibility of coinciding in space of formed receiving and transmitting RP in antenna of circular electronic scanning, beam width of transmitting RP is determined at constant amplitude distribution and stored, selecting to generate receiving RP with given level of maximum side lobe falling amplitude distribution, which corresponds to wider RP, symmetrically and successively increasing sector of active lines of emitters by value K (K = 1, 2, …) so that when total number of radiators M=N+2K active on receiving lines width of receiving RP was equal to beam width of transmitting RP, obtaining the obtained values of the number M and amplitudes Aj for each j-th active line of emitters (j=1÷M), then by means of electronic connection, in each of the M emitters, setting the stored value Aj and the phase Δψj and adding the M signals to form the receiving RP, and to provide a circular area of electronic scanning in series or in random order, changing the preset direction of the axis of the transmitting and receiving RP, for each value of which the above operations are performed, wherein the values M and the values Aj remain unchanged in any direction of the maximum RP.
EFFECT: invention can be used in sighting radar stations.
