SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, and more specifically to device for braking in atmosphere. Device for braking and protection of descent aircraft in atmosphere includes screen in form of tubular-latticed structure, which carcass is fixed on frontal surface of aircraft. Front parts of tubular structural elements have on the inner surface layer of heat-resistant coating capable of sublimation at interaction with atmosphere. Heat-resistant coating contains substances with magnetic properties. There is possibility of magnetic substances absorption on magnetic catchers.
EFFECT: higher braking efficiency.
