FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanics, in particular to development and creation of devices (instruments) for studying effect of recuperative braking on mechanical pulse of a system of physical bodies. In the proposed device, the system of bodies is formed by two bogies interacting with each other: an upper bogie equipped with a DC generator connected via gearing with the upper bogie wheel and a lower bogie with possibility of free movement. Accelerating impulse upper bogie receives during movement on inclined plane fixed on lower bogie. Displacement of lower bogie is reduced when connected to load generator as a result of recuperative braking. There are options to provide lower bogie mobility.
EFFECT: proposed device simulates in the terrestrial conditions the effect of recuperative braking when the system moves along the space trajectory.
