Device for reconstructing a phase from an amplitude spectrogram of an audio signal comprises a frequency change detector configured to determine a frequency change for each time-frequency bin from a plurality of time-frequency bins of an amplitude spectrogram of the audio signal depending on an amplitude spectrogram of the audio signal, and a phase reconstructor configured to generate phase values for a plurality of time-frequency bins depending on frequency variations determined for a plurality of time-frequency bins.

EFFECT: technical result is providing improved principles for processing audio signals.
