FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: proposal relates to devices for separation of hydrocarbon emulsions of "water-oil-gas" type. Vertical settler includes cylindrical vertical housing with oil level and oil-water interface, coaxially installed shell, oil-water mixture feed branch pipe, distributor for water-oil mixture inlet, oil, water and gas discharge pipes. Shell is cylindrical with the lower edge tightly interacting with the housing bottom. Oil discharge pipe is communicated with shell. Shell is made sealed from above, plugged with plug from the inside with formation of upper and lower cavities. Oil discharge pipe is interconnected with the upper cavity of the shell, and the branch pipe of the water-and-oil mixture is connected to the lower cavity. Distribution device for input of water-oil mixture is made in the form of perforated radial branch pipes interconnected with lower cavity of shell located evenly along perimeter of shell and installed below boundary line of oil-water phases. In addition shell is equipped with oil takeoff. Oil sampler is made in the form of perforated radial branch pipes interconnected with the upper cavity of the shell and arranged evenly along the perimeter of the shell. Branch pipes of the selector are installed above interface of oil-water phases with angular displacement relative to branch pipes of distribution device. Water discharge branch pipe is installed below the branch pipes of the distribution device at a distance excluding water-oil mixture gripping.
EFFECT: providing introduction of emulsion flow over maximum area without rotation in housing and ruling out flow failure of extracted oil.
