FIELD: electric switching system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric switching system (1) of direct current for electric arc quenching, which comprises: contact device (3) having first contact (3a) and second contact (3b), current injection circuit (5) including a resonant circuit configured to be connected in parallel to contact device (3), and first switch connected to resonance circuit (6) and to first contact (3a), wherein first switch (S1) is configured to switch between open state and closed state, wherein in the closed state the first switch is configured to enable the injection current flow through resonance circuit (6) in the direction of the first flow and in contact device (3) in the direction opposite to the arc current flow direction of the contact device, and arc-quenching chamber assembly comprising a plurality of partition walls configured to damp the arc between first contact (3a) and second contact (3b), each partition wall of multiple partition walls has a multilayer configuration comprising a magnetic layer and two non-magnetic layers.
EFFECT: electric DC switching system is proposed.
