FIELD: physics; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical chemistry, particularly to an automated apparatus for investigating photocatalytic activity of powdered compositions. Apparatus includes photoreaction cuvettes filled with a photocatalytic solution containing a model contaminant and a photocatalytic powder, a magnetic anchor, a magnetic device, a thermal stabilization system which is an aqueous cooling thermostat and heat stabilization bath, connected by pipelines, light-insulating screens, photostimulating radiation source system, which is metal halogen lamps, metal halide lamps rotation drive and light filters located above the photoreaction cells with possibility of adjusting the intensity of spectral characteristics of the light radiation incident from metal halide lamps, the photocatalytic powder activity analysing module, which is a laser module and a photosensor, wherein photoreaction cuvette is combined with measuring module into single measurement-photoreaction cuvette, and automated control of systems and elements of installation is carried out by single control unit by means of software.
EFFECT: invention provides higher technological and economic efficiency of photocatalytic process analysis.
