FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of self-cleaning fabric material having the photocatalytic activity under the action of ultraviolet and visible radiation and intended for the photocatalytic destruction of hazardous organic and inorganic substances and macromolecules. The method of production of the material comprises impregnating of the washed and dried fabric base with aqueous sol of silicon dioxide, air drying, washing with distilled water and redrying. Then the fabric impregnation is carried out with the coated silicon dioxide of titanyl sulphate solution and the immersion is carried out into the aqueous suspension of the photocatalyst based on nanocrystalline titanium dioxide with ultrasound treatment. The resulting material is air dried, washed with water and finally dried.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining the material effective for adsorption cleaning of gas and water environments polluted by organic and inorganic substances, followed by self-cleaning by photocatalytic degradation.
