SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing new promising hybrid catalysts based on a piezoelectric polymer of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with the addition of hydrated nitrate salts of Ca, Mg or Zn as a filler for solving the problem of purifying water from organic dyes. Piezophotocatalyst, which is a nanofibre based on a PVDF polymer matrix with additives of a hydrated salt Ca(NO3)2×4H2O, or Mg(NO3)2×6H2O, or Zn(NO3)2×6H2O, is intended for catalytic decomposition of organic compounds in solution, is able to convert mechanical and light energy into chemical energy in oxidation-reduction processes.

EFFECT: higher rate of decomposition of organic compounds in solution, reduced contamination of waste water, as well as rejection of catalysts based on dispersed powder semiconductors and expensive precious metals.
