FIELD: chemistry; physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrogen power engineering, organic chemistry and catalysis, in particular to development of compositions of chemical systems capable of cyclical accumulation and release hydrogen in catalytic processes of hydrogenation-dehydrogenation and are products of selective hydrogenation of styrene oligomers and bottoms of reaction resins, which are used as liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHC). Method is carried out in the presence of sulphide Co6-PMo12S/Al2O3 or Co6-Bmo12S/Al2O3 catalyst, at hydrogen pressure 3.0–5.0 MPa, hydrogen circulation rate 300–600 Nl/l of raw material, temperature 370–390 °C, raw material feed rate volume of 0.5–2.0 h-1. Hydrogen cycle of hydrogen-rich chain includes hydrogen bonding at temperatures from 200 to 260 °C and its release at temperatures from 300 to 380 °C in the process of using selective hydrogenation products in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst. Heterogeneous catalyst includes an Al2O3 and applied thereto Pt in amount of 0.1 to 1.0 wt. %, or Pd in amount of 0.5 to 2.0 wt. %, or Ni in amount of 5 to 12 wt. %.

EFFECT: technical result consists in production of non-deficient large-capacity LOHC.
