FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid organic hydrogen carrier, which is a mixture of organic nitrogen compounds containing aromatic C5-C6 cycles capable of attaching hydrogen atoms in the presence of catalysts, having lower thermal effects of hydrogenation-dehydrogenation reactions of components. In this case, mixtures contain at least one compound selected from a row of: indole, carbazole, and at least one compound selected from a row of: acridine, pyridine, phenanthridine, quinoline, wherein, for the binary system, component ratios are selected from a row of 25:75% by wt., 50:50% by wt., 75:25% by wt., and for a system of three components, the first component is taken in amount of no more than 30% by wt., the second component is taken in amount of no more than 30% by wt., the third component is the rest up to 100% by wt. The invention also relates to a hydrogen cycle realized during the binding of hydrogen at temperatures from 110 to 160°C and the release of hydrogen at temperatures from 320 to 350°C, including the binding of hydrogen and its release from a liquid organic hydrogen carrier, in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst, wherein the heterogeneous catalyst includes a carrier – Al2O3 – and Pt applied on it, the platinum Pt content is in the range from 0.1 to 2.0% by wt., and/or Pd, the palladium Pd content is in the range from 0.1 to 2.0% by wt., or Ni, the nickel Ni content is in the range from 6 to 12% by wt.
EFFECT: obtaining a mixture of organic nitrogen compounds.
