FIELD: technology for electromagnetic research, possible use, primarily, for finding, detecting, recognizing and tracking routes of underwater metal-containing extensive objects, including those silted up in bottom soil, for example, underwater pipelines, power cables and the like; mainly for utilization at autonomous uninhabited underwater apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: device contains control block, two emitters of electromagnetic field, each one of which is made in form of two exciting current electrodes, mounted in bow and stern portions of underwater finding apparatus, two receivers of electromagnetic field in form of four receiving electrodes. Exciting current electrodes are positioned in horizontal plane of underwater finding apparatus in such a way, that two electric dipoles formed by these are rotated in different directions relatively to longitudinal vertical axial plane of underwater finding apparatus for equal angle. Receiving electrodes are positioned on underwater finding apparatus so, that two receiving dipoles formed by them are rotated in different directions relatively to transverse vertical axial plane of underwater finding apparatus, exciting electrodes are connected to outputs of control block. Receiving electrodes are connected to inputs of control block. Receiving electrodes of each receiving dipole are mounted in finding apparatus in places, where potential of electromagnetic field, emitted by appropriate electric dipole, is close to zero value. Precise position of receiving electrodes for each receiving dipole on the surface of body of finding apparatus is determined as locus, formed by middles of lines crossing surface of body of finding apparatus by plane, passing through both poles of appropriate emitting electric dipole, during its turn relatively to axis of this dipole, while by ends of portions of crossing lines are poles of emitting electric dipole.
EFFECT: increased precision of detection during movement of underwater finding apparatus at any course angle relatively to route of extensive object in one pass with detection of its orientation, possible continuous tracking of placing route of extensive object in process of movement of finding apparatus along the route both when changing height above the bottom, and when electric conductivity of soil changes along the movement trajectory.
