FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting fixtures. Such a result is achieved by the fact that a signal from the photodetector is received in the control device, the signal carries a characteristic of the radiation received by the photodetector from the output element of the luminaire, wherein the light emitted by the lamp comes from the luminaire through said output element, the monitoring device is used to determine the level of contamination on the output element based on said characteristic, the geographical location associated with the luminaire, identifying based on geographic proximity of geographic location to the luminaire, in response to increasing a certain level of contamination, the monitoring device generates a control signal from which to initiate cleaning of the object in that geographical location, which is separate from the luminaire.
EFFECT: technical result consists in controlling level of contamination of the luminaire.
