GAS METER (EMBODIMENTS) Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01F3/22

Abstract RU 2715087 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making, is intended for measurement of volume of gas passing through pipeline, and can be used at accounting of gas consumption by individual consumers. In the gas meter, the flow acoustic generator of the flow sensor is made in the form of thin-walled cylinders assembled telescopically on the base of the meter, with gaps between each other and the base. Thin-wall cylinders comprise sipes formed by shaped holes uniformly located along the diameter of the cylinder. Thin-wall cylinders are turned on axis between each other by value of shaped holes displacement to mismatch. Gas distributing circuit of the counter base at the gas outlet to the zone of the jet acoustic generator of the flow sensor is made in the form of a confusor, and the gas outlet from the cavity behind the jet acoustic generator is made in the form of a diffuser. Jet acoustic generator of the flow rate sensor may additionally contain thin-walled cone with petals uniformly located on its surface after thin-walled cylinders.

EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy and stability of gas flow rate measurements, as well as higher sensitivity of meter at minimum pressure and flow rate of gas passing through pipeline.
