SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to means of measuring rigidity or elasticity of tissue using shear waves. Ultrasonic system comprises a probe and a transmitting beam shaper with a predetermined number of transmission channels, a probe of an ultrasonic transducer array having a certain number of transducer elements exceeding said predetermined number, and a switch-multiplexer connected between beam former transmission channels and matrix elements of converters and configured to selectively connect each of a predetermined number of transmission channels with conversion elements on transmitting apertures of the pusher pulse, wherein the system is configured to transmit pushing pulses simultaneously when beam former transmission channels are connected to converting elements of transmitting apertures. Method of ultrasonic system for shear waves measurement includes switching of switch-multiplex switches for connection of transmission channels with conversion elements of more than one transmitting aperture of pushing pulse, wherein each of separate channels is connected with converting elements of transmitting apertures of pushing pulse, and actuation of signal sources of transmission channels for simultaneous transmission of pushing pulses from matrix converter.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to reduce the time required for carrying out the necessary measurements of shear waves throughout the study area.
