SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Device for providing access to dry powder in a sealed chamber comprises a hollow body having a hole on the proximal end, a main hole on the distal end and an additional opening on the distal end, as well as at least one structural element in the form of a blade extending from the external surface of the body and distally located in relation to the main distal hole. Also disclosed is a dry powder inhaler comprising a body, a piercing component for accessing the dry powder contained in the sealed chamber, and a mouthpiece which communicates with the opening on the proximal end of the piercing component. At least part of the distal end of the piercing component is located inside the body of the inhaler.
EFFECT: disclosed is powder inhaler and method of its application.
