SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for synthesis of virtual reality objects. Detecting a target object on an image captured by a terminal device. In the depth information synthesis mode, the depth information for the target object is obtained by the recording unit of the terminal device. Obtaining the depth information for the target object. Method includes superimposing a virtual object on an image based on depth information for the target object and depth information for the virtual object. Objects with different depth information have different occlusion links, upon detection of the target object, the virtual object is applied on the image captured by the terminal device in accordance with the depth information for the target object and depth information for the virtual object.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of calculations in process of overlapping virtual object on image captured by terminal device in real time, obtaining correct display of virtual object.
