FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns a stable aqueous composition containing a peptide and suitable for intravenous injection. Aqueous composition contains from 60 mg/ml to 200 mg/ml of neuroactive peptide GLYX-13 or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, water for injections and acid; wherein said stable aqueous composition has pH from 3.9 to 5.5 at 25 °C and wherein acid provides chloride ions in the aqueous composition. Also disclosed are pre-filled syringe, test tube and pharmaceutical dosage form suitable for injection.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective treatment of depression in a patient in need thereof, as well as obtaining a stable aqueous composition for intravenous injection containing neuropeptide GLYX-13.
