FIELD: ground construction.

SUBSTANCE: sound-absorbing ceiling panel, comprising: a first layer comprising a first main surface and a second main surface, wherein the second main surface of the first layer is formed by a perimeter, second main surface of first layer comprises perimeter area adjacent to perimeter of second main surface of first layer, and central area limited by area of perimeter of second main surface of first layer; second layer comprising first main surface and second main surface, wherein first main surface of second layer is formed by perimeter, first main surface of second layer comprises perimeter area adjacent to perimeter of first main surface of second layer, and central area limited by perimeter area of first main surface of second layer. At that, the second main surface of the first layer is connected to the first main surface of the second layer with an adhesive applied on at least one of the perimeter area of the second main surface of the first layer or the perimeter area of the first main surface of the second layer, wherein each of central area of second main surface of first layer and central area of first main surface of second layer does not contain adhesive, whereby first and second layers are glued to each other with adhesive to form cohesive multilayer panel. Embodiments of ceiling panel and suspended ceiling system are also described.
