FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for production of radionuclides. Device comprises electron accelerator (8), converter of electrons, target assembly (5), which includes capsule with irradiated substance, and cooling system made in form of circulation circuit containing pump-flow meter (6) and container (4) with heat carrier, equipped with cooler (9) and level meter (7). Converter and capsule with irradiated substance are placed in one housing of target assembly (5). Container (4) can be arranged so that level of heat carrier in it is located at height below target unit (5), but above pump-flow meter (6). Fluid metals, e.g. eutectic sodium-potassium alloy, are used as heat carrier. Container (4) is connected to vacuum pump (2) and to cylinder with inert gas (1).

EFFECT: increased efficiency of cooling of converter of electrons and capsule with irradiated substance and simplified design of the device.
