SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the field of valve cleaning in vehicle brake system vacuum amplifier system. Disclosed are method and system for cleaning brake valve aspirator shutoff valve. Substance of inventions consists in the fact that the shut-off valve is made with possibility of selective resolution of circulation of the intake air flow through the aspirator, at that the aspirator is installed bypassing the engine throttle and serves as a vacuum source for the brake amplifier. Method includes the following stages: determining whether cleaning of the shut-off valve is required, opening the shut-off valve to allow circulation of air flow through the shut-off valve and cleaning the shut-off valve and adjusting the position of the engine throttle in order to compensate for the additional flow of sucked air through the aspirator.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of system operation.
