SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion for moistening human keratin materials, which contains in a physiologically acceptable medium at least one aqueous phase in amount of 30 to 70 wt % relative to total weight of composition; as well as at least one oil phase, containing at least one non-polar non-volatile oil on hydrocarbon base and at least one paste-like non-polar lipophilic substance on hydrocarbon base, in amount of 1 to 40 wt % relative to total weight of composition; as well as at least one hydrophilic gel-forming polysaccharide; as well as at least one mixture of emulsifying non-ionic surfactants, containing at least one fatty acid ester and polyol, as well as at least one ester of fatty acid and polyalkylene glycol, and also relates to a cosmetic care method for moistening keratin of human materials.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides preparing a composition for moistening keratin materials, which enables to obtain after 24 hours a feeling of well-moisturized skin and provides a composition which has good storage stability (for two months at room temperature (20–25 °C) and two months at 45 °C without any reduction of pH or loss of viscosity).
