SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of ensuring safety of workers. System comprises a hearing protection article secured behind a worker, and a portable computing device attached to the worker; remote computing device communicatively connected to the portable computing device, wherein the remote computing device is configured to receive audio level data which indicate different sound levels in different respective locations of the working medium; determining the amount of sound perceived by the worker over a period of time based on location data received from the portable computing device; identifying an updated location in a working environment characterized by a sound level which is different from the current location, at least partially on the basis of the hearing protection article, the amount of sound and sound level data, which indicate different sound levels in different respective locations; and generating a notification which instructs worker to move from current location to updated location.

EFFECT: technical result is higher safety of workers due to analysis of deviations, notifications and control of personal protective equipment in working environment.
