FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to resuscitation and toxicology, and aims at treating intoxication psychoses in acute psychoactive substance poisoning. For the treatment of intoxication psychoses in acute psychoactive substances poisoning, inhaled sedation with sevoflurane in dose of 3–5 ml per hour using an AnaConDa system on the SERVO-s – Maquet apparatus for 10–12 hours until reaching the target sedation degree by RASS – -2…-3 points. Concurrently, cytoflavin is administered in a dose of at least 0.5 ml/kg of body weight at rate of 20 drops per minute (1 ml/min) 2 times a day daily for 3–4 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables reducing the length of stay in the state of intoxication psychosis by maximally fast and effective suppression of pathological psychic activity and restoration of the cerebral control function; prevent life-threatening complications due to prolonged psychosis with hypoxia; reduced use of sedatives traditionally used in treatment regimens of intoxication psychoses; as well as reduces length of stay of patients in resuscitation department.
