FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardening of surfaces of parts operating under conditions of intense abrasive wear, which can be used in production and recovery of parts of machines with specified physical and mechanical properties of cutting surface. Method involves depositing a metal-ceramic paste directly on the surface hardened surface and vibro-arc treatment, after which electric-spark alloying of the part hardened surface with tungsten-cobalt electrode is performed. Metal-ceramic paste is made by mechanical mixing of steel matrix powder, in which boron carbide, borax, aluminum and silicon oxides, cryolite, aluminum powder is added using binder in form of liquid glass. Vibration arc hardening is carried out using graphite electrode. Thermal diffusion saturation of surface with metal-ceramic components takes place during hardening.
EFFECT: invention provides a significant reduction in the roughness of the hardened coating and high wear resistance of the surface.
