FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconditioning of worn-out parts with application of welding and can be used for restoration of duckfoot shovel of tillage machines. Worn-out working part of the duckfoot shovel is removed in the form of an angular plate; a compensating plate consisting of two separate elements is made of spring steel and welded to the restrained duckfoot shovel. Compensating plate is strengthened by surfacing of wear-resistant material over entire area. As wear-resistant material composition is used, consisting of iron-based powder type PG-S27, tungsten carbide in the form of VK-6 alloy and aluminum oxide nanopowder Al2O3. For hardening a duckfoot shovel, plasma surfacing is used. Current intensity is equal to 250–290 A, deposition rate is 3.5–4.5 m/h.
EFFECT: invention increases hardness and wear resistance of reclaimed and strengthened duckfoot shovel of tillage machines under conditions of intense abrasive wear.
