FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ecologically clean solar cells. Invention can be used in making membrane solar batteries with a CZT (S, Se)/CdS heterojunction. More specifically, the invention relates to production of mono-gauged kesterite powders Cu2-δZn2-xSnx(S1-ySey)4. Disclosed invention discloses a method for synthesis of such powders. For illustration synthesis of patterns of composition Cu1.85ZnSnSe4 is described. Synthesis consists of several stages. At the first stage, Cu2-δSnX3 (X = S, Se) from elementary Cu, Sn and X is obtained in several steps by direct synthesis in vacuum-coated quartz ampules. ZnS is obtained by deposition of hydrogen sulphide and zinc salts with subsequent annealing. ZnSe is obtained according to the scheme ZnS + 2ZnO + 3Se = 3ZnSe + SO2. At the second step, the required number of precursors is triturated together with KI, wherein the molar ratio of synthesized kesterite to said flux must be 1:(5÷10). Precursor mixtures thus obtained are annealed in evacuated quartz ampoules at T = 740 °C for t > 50 h. After this step, the contents of the ampoules are washed with deionised water, dried under vacuum and separated by means of a set of sieves with different diameter of the holes.

EFFECT: this technique can be useful in creation of high-efficiency ecologically clean solar panels of new generation.
