FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: hydroacoustic deep-water antenna contains a vertical set of freely streamlined hollow cylindrical converters located coaxially with a gap between them. Set height is equal to average diameter of cylindrical converters. Inner volume of antenna is filled with solid filler forming internal rod resonator, density of which is lower than water density, sound speed is 3π times less than speed of sound in material of cylindrical converters. Resonant frequency of longitudinal oscillations of inner rod resonator is two times less than frequency of radial oscillations of cylindrical converters. At that, all cylindrical converters are electrically connected in parallel and connected to power amplifier through inductance forming electric circuit with capacity of cylindrical converters, resonance frequency of which is twice less than frequency of radial oscillations of cylindrical converters and is equal to frequency of longitudinal oscillations of internal rod resonator.
EFFECT: invention can be used in development of deep-water low-frequency piezoelectric transducers, not directed in horizontal plane, capable of operating in wide frequency band, for example, in underwater situation illumination problem, as well as in long acoustic communication systems, in long-range hydroacoustic navigation systems.
