FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustics and can be used in the systems of radiation and reception of hydroacoustic signals of antennas of profilographs, communication systems and information transmission of uninhabited deep-sea submersibles, lighthouse-responders. Deep-water broadband hydroacoustic transducer is proposed, made in the form of a hollow water-filled cylinder, open at one end and sealed over the entire surface of the polymer, in which a double-layered acoustic screen in the form of a truncated cone for lateral and rear shielding is mounted on the outer cylindrical and back surfaces of a hollow water-filled cylinder, made of two parts - internal, made of high-strength composite material with wave resistance, close to the wave resistance of water, and external - in the form of a metallic conical shell, installed on the side surface of the composite part of the screen, while the base of the rear screen is mounted on the carrier body, and the angle of inclination of the lateral surface of the truncated cone to the carrier body is 20-40°.
EFFECT: such a design of the converter allows to provide a given directivity characteristic while maintaining broadband and ensuring operation at great depths.
