SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used in behavior of marine seismic operations. Disclosed are methods of assembling and deploying marine vibrator, intended for use in marine seismic investigations. Marine vibrators form several buoyancy configurations with appropriate equipment for adjusting the immersion depth of marine vibrators. Typical marine vibrator comprises a positively floating hydrodynamic towed body comprising a low-frequency electroacoustic projector; power electronics system; control-monitoring electronics system and a pressure compensation system, wherein the hydrodynamic towed hull comprises one or more active control surfaces for adjusting the immersion depth and the roll position of the hydrodynamic towed hull. In additional embodiments, a water-filled bearing frame with positive or negative buoyancy is used.
EFFECT: technical result is high information content of the received data.
