SUBSTANCE: capsule processing device (1) for preparing a beverage from capsule (5) having body (50), which contains an ingredient and has a peripherally projecting flange (51), comprises: capsule holder (10) with an upwardly directed opening (12) for receiving capsule (5) through opening (12) such that capsule flange (51) is substantially parallel to opening (12); device (30) for movement of capsule, comprising guide frame (31) for capsule for transfer of capsule (5) from capsule holder (10) into zone (40) of used capsule removal. Capsule guide frame (31) comprises a pair of lateral guides (311, 312), each having retention section (311a, 312a) configured to hold capsule (5) between guides (311, 312) under flange (51), as well as holding capsule (5) over capsule holder (10). Device (30) of capsule movement contains mechanism (35) of capsule movement for movement of capsule (5) from section (311a, 312a) of retention to zone (40) of used capsule extraction.

EFFECT: disclosed is extraction of capsule from capsule holder.
