FIELD: beverage making.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for making and dispensing a beverage, a combination of a device and a capsule with a beverage ingredient, a method for making and dispensing a beverage from a capsule with a beverage ingredient, using a device, as well as the use of a capsule. The device for making and dispensing a beverage, such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cold chocolate, milk, soup or baby food, contains an extraction unit for extracting the capsule with a beverage ingredient to form the specified beverage. The unit has the first part and the second part, which are made with the possibility of movement relatively to each other between a remote position for inserting and/or removing the capsule and a close position, in which the first and the second parts limit an extraction chamber for fixing and extracting the capsule. At least one of the specified parts has a device for opening the capsule and/or at least one of the specified parts has a hole for the flow of liquid intended for mixing with the ingredient contained in the capsule. The device also contains a control unit for controlling the extraction unit to perform capsule extraction. The control unit is powered by a power supply network. The device additionally contains an output channel for dispensing the specified beverage formed by capsule extraction into a user’s container located in the area for placing a receiving vessel, and a color identification module for identifying the color of the capsule inserted into the specified device. The color identification module includes a color sensor to detect a color sample of at least part of the surface of such a capsule. The color identification module is made with the possibility of comparison of the specified color sample with at least one color standard by: calculating a color distance between a typical color vector of the specified color sample and a reference color vector of the specified at least one color standard, calculating a chromaticity value between a typical chromatic vector of the specified color sample and a reference chromatic vector of the specified at least one color standard, calculating a quantitative indicator using the specified color distance and the specified chromaticity value to determine the correspondence between the specified color sample and the specified at least one color standard.
EFFECT: improvement of the dispensing of a beverage by devices that automatically identify capsules.
