FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control device (2) for control of bipolar switchable power semiconductor circuit element (1). Control device (2) is intended to disconnect power semiconductor circuit element (1) so that electric voltage (U) first decreases from first voltage value (UB+) to value (Usat) of output from saturation mode, and then electric voltage (U) is reduced from value (Usat) of output from saturation mode to second value (UB-) of voltage, and value (Usat) of output from saturation mode is higher than voltage (UP) of power cutoff semiconductor circuit element (1).
EFFECT: efficient disconnection of bipolar switchable power semiconductor circuit element (1).
