FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: subtilisin variant is described. Said version of subtilisin represents a mature form having proteolytic activity and containing an amino acid sequence including a combination of amino acid substitutions selected from T022R-S101G-S103A-V104I-A232V-Q245R and T022A-S101G-S103A-V104I-A232V-Q245R. Amino acid positions of the subtilisin variant are numbered according to the numbering of corresponding positions of amino acids in amino acid sequence of subtilisin BPN' Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, presented in SEQ ID No. 1, wherein the subtilisin variant is a subtilisin variant of subtilisin GG36 protease Bacillus lentus, wherein said protease subtilisin GG36 Bacillus lentus contains the amino acid sequence given in SEQ ID No. 2. Said version of subtilisin has at least 80 % identity with said protease, subtilisin GG36 Bacillus lentus, having an amino acid sequence given in SEQ ID No. 2.
