FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical testing of materials for tensile, compression and fatigue and can be used in devices for fixing test specimens in grippers of test machines. Said cage comprises replaceable bushings coupled with the cage to get in contact with the test specimen, wherein it is provided with two hooks arranged to hold the inserts, which joint with yoke is made in the form of thread located on corresponding surfaces of inserts and holder. Besides, said hooks are arranged with the possibility of releasing inserts at their rotation along the specified thread by an angle of not more than 15° for replacement of inserts in the cartridge without their withdrawal from the grips.
EFFECT: use of invention widens technological capabilities of testing machine.
