FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making melt epoxy binders for producing structural polymer composite materials (PCM) resistant to impact effects based on fibrous reinforcing fillers formed by prepreg technology, which can be used in automotive and shipbuilding, for making functional prosthetic products, in sports and leisure industry and in other industries. Epoxy binder includes a mixture of liquid and solid difunctional epoxy resins based on bisphenol A, a rubber-containing component consisting of core-shell type rubber nanoparticles distributed in epoxy resin based on bisphenol A, a thermoplastic, a latent hardener – dicyandiamide, a curing accelerator – asymmetrically disubstituted urea, a difunctional epoxy resin based on bisphenol F and a polyfunctional epoxy resin. Prepreg contains said epoxy binder and fibrous filler. Product is produced by vacuum-pressure molding or direct pressing of prepreg.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by high technological viability of binder and prepregs based on it at temperature of 25 °C, increased glass transition temperature, as well as an index of impact strength of the formed PCM samples.
